Sevilla – Inter Milan

The Europa League will have a new champion after just a few days. Sevilla and Inter Milan will face each other in Koln and one of them will lift the important trophy. But which one? Let’s preview it.

Sevilla will try to cement their place as the most successful club in the history of Europa League. So far Los Rojiblancos have won the trophy five times which is impressive. Just few days ago the Spaniards eliminated Manchester United from the competition, showing everyone how good they are.

It was not an easy game against United. The Red Devils opened the score after just 9 minutes of playing, but Suso equalised for Julen Lopetegui’s team. The conclusion came at the end of the game. Jesus Navas crossed the ball in the penalty area where Luuk de Jong headed it past David De Gea. It was a memorable night for Sevilla despite the lack of fans at the stands.

Lopetegui took some interesting decisions. He left Munir and Luuk de Jong on the bench opting to the trio Ocampos – En-Nesyri-Suso in attack. On Friday the manager will have to take some difficult decisions again.

Inter Milan made a huge statement on Monday when they crushed Shakhtar Donetsk with 5-0 in the other 1/2-final. The Nerazzurri’s deadly duo Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez scored four of the goals while Danilo D’Ambrosio also put the ball in the net. It was one of Inter’s best games in Europe for the season.

Inter Milan’s manager Antonio Conte is aiming to win his first European trophy in his career as a head coach. The same could be said about Sevilla’s Julen Lopetegui as well. We expect a terrific tactical duel between these two managers.

Be sure to watch the Europa League final between Sevilla and Inter Milan on Friday. Two great teams are facing each other, so we expect some fireworks there.
