Union Berlin will host the champion Bayern Munich

Union Berlin will host the champion Bayern Munich at the Stadion An der Alten Forsterei in a match from the 11th round of the Bundesliga. Now it’s time to take a look at this game in the German capital.

For Union Berlin this season started in a terrific way. At this moment the club from the capital is 6th in the standings with 16 points won and that’s a great way to start the new campaign. Union have lost just two of their 10 games in the Bundesliga so far which is impressive.

Last week Union Berlin suffered their second defeat in the league. They participated in the capital derby against Hertha BSC at the Olympiastadion, but suffered a 1-3 defeat against the Old Lady. Taiwo Awoniyi actually opened the score for Union, but in the second half Hertha scored three times and managed to snatch the win.

Bayern Munich are leaders in the Bundesliga after 10 rounds played. The Bavarians are one point ahead of the second Bayer Leverkusen and they still have just one defeat – against Hoffenheim.

Last week the reigning champions made a second draw for the season. Bayern faced RB Leipzig at the Red Bull Arena and it ended with a dramatic 3-3 draw. Thomas Muller scored a brace for Bayern while Jamal Musiala also scored for the Bavarian giants. Conceding three times at home ground was not okay, though.

During the week Bayern Munich has a game in the Champions League as well. Their fixture against Lokomotiv Moscow at the Allianz Arena is not decisive though, so we expect to see the manager Hansi Flick rotating the team and giving a rest to key players.

That’s the preview for the Bundesliga game between Union Berlin and Bayern Munich in the capital. Don’t be too surprised if Union cause Bayern some problems here – they are doing very good this season.

Bayern Munich – Eintracht Frankfurt

Bayern Munich – Eintracht Frankfurt

The champion and leader in the Bundesliga Bayern Munich aim to enjoy their 19th win for the season when they host Eintracht Frankfurt at the Allianz Arena on Saturday. This is a match from the 27th round of the league and the Bavarians are clear favourites to clinch the win.

At this moment Bayern Munich enjoy four points lead in front of the second Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga standings. They must stay consistent, though, because this is not such of a big gap. Borussia Dortmund are showing great form and they could use every slump in Bayern Munich’s form.

Last week Bayern didn’t show any sign of slowing down. The champion visited Union Berlin in the capital and didn’t face much of a trouble to record a 2-0 win. There’s no surprise that Robert Lewandowski scored again for Bayern Munich, whie Benjamin Pavard scored the second one.

The decision to leave Hansi Flick as manager after Niko Kovac’ sacking seems brilliant so far. Flick found his way to deal with Bayern’s dressing room and so far his results are almost flawless.

We can’t say the same about Eintracht Frankfurt, though. Eintracht do not enjoy their best season, being 13th in the standings with just 28 points. Because of this dissapointing performance it’s very likely to see some major changes at Eintracht for the next season.

Last week Eintracht restarted their campaign after the COVID-19 pandemic with another loss. They hosted Borussia M’gladbach and got beaten with 1-3. This was their 4th consecutive loss in the league – a proof that nothing is right in Frankfurt at the moment.

In conclusion we can say that we’d be really surprised if Bayern Munich don’t take the three points against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday. The champions are much better at the moment, so we don’t see how Eintracht will have a good day at the Allianz Arena.
